Your Gateway to the Past

AAF is an annual celebration of archaeology. We invite you to join us behind the scenes of excavations, museums, and laboratories.

Hosted at the British School at Athens, AAF offers hands-on activities, interactive workshops, and creative experiences that bring stories from the past to life.

A group of three people talking at an outdoor event with green foliage in the background. One woman is seated, and two older adults, a woman and a man, are standing and engaging in conversation with her.
Two young women dressed in white stand outdoors, holding gifts and props, smiling. One holds a wrapped gift with a leaf design, the other holds a torch-shaped object and an apple. They are surrounded by green trees and plants, with a building in the background.

The Athens Archaeology Festival is designed for people of all ages and backgrounds — an inclusive space where learning meets fun!
